Digital Imaging Update
The tender for supply of 80 digital cameras for Phase 1 of Pathalba has been won by Nikon UK. Further details to follow. The Pathalba Board and SPAN look forward to working in partnership with Nikon to deliver this phase of the work.

SPAN Steering Group News
The first Steering Group meeting of SPAN will take place in the Scottish Health Service Centre at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh on Tuesday 20th June 2006 starting at 10:30. This will be the first meeting with representative of each Health board Region.

SPAN Launch meeting 02 May 2006
The Scottish Pathology Network Launch meeting took place in the Steel Rooms at Perth Royal Infirmary and was attended by approximately 70 delegates from a broad spectrum of representation including consultant pathologists, biomedical scientists and general management from most of the health board regions in Scotland.
